Our School Dress Code
The Mountain View Adventist College uniform shop is located in the main administration building.
During the term, the uniform shop is open Monday to Friday in the morning from 8:15am to 8:45am and again in the afternoon from 3:15pm - 3:45pm. Please note during terms 2 and 3 the shop will be closed Friday afternoons.
Holiday Opening Hours: The uniform shop will be open Thursday, October 10 and Friday, October 11 from 10am -2pm.
The shop is not open during school hours; however, pre-orders may be placed at the front office. Pre-orders may only be placed if the size of the item being purchased is known. If you are not sure what size you need to purchase, please come to the shop during opening hours to try the item(s) on. Pre-orders may be picked up at the end of the day (3:15pm) from the office by students or parents.
Refund and Exchange Policy: Items needing to be refunded or exchanged must be in the same condition that they were sold in. They need to have the tag, not be worn, washed or altered.
Our Uniform Guidelines
As per our uniform guidelines, students who are not wearing the correct uniform item will be expected to collect uniform passes each morning and supply a note from their parents explaining the reason for being out of uniform. Upon the third uniform pass being issued, students will not be allowed to attend classes, until parents are called to rectify the uniform issue by either; bringing the missing item to the college for the student, buying the replacement items from the uniform shop or taking the student home until the uniform issue is resolved.
Please Note:
During Terms two and three and for formal school events, Year 7-12 students are expected to wear their college blazers (Year 12 may alternatively wear their Year 12 leavers jackets in non-formal events). Female skirt length should be long enough to reach the knee when standing. Hair accessories need to match college colours. Males are to wear their ties and have their shirts tucked in.
